VOL-VCA exam - Safety for Operational Managers Exam
The exam Safety for Operational Managers (‘Veiligheid voor Operationeel Leidinggevenden’) is also known as the VOL-VCA exam. The exam consists of questions about such subjects as (European and domestic) legislation and regulations, the identifying of unsafe situations and actions, the taking of measures to prevent accidents, VCA certification, company contingency plans and the organisation of Toolbox Talk meetings. You can prepare yourself for the exam, either by taking a VCA course or by studying privately at home.
What does the VOL-VCA exam consist of?
The VOL-VCA exam consists of 70 multiple choice questions. The exam takes a maximum of 75 minutes. If you score 4515 or more of the 7000 points (64.5%) on offer then you will have passed.
The VOL-VCA diploma
The VOL-VCA diploma shows to all concerned that you know how to work safely. And that you consider the environment and the health of you and the employees that you are managing. A VOL-VCA diploma means you know the requirements that you and your employees must comply with in order to work safely and responsibly.
The VOL-VCA exam
If you have taken the exam on a computer then you will receive your provisional score right away. You will receive your VOL-VCA diploma from us no later than three working days after taking the VOL-VCA exam. We will also tell you the score you achieved in the VOL-VCA exam. If an educational institution, employment agency or your employer registered you for the exam then we will send the diploma to them.
